Credit note

Credit Note:

A credit note is a receipt given by a shop to a customer who has returned goods, which can be offset against future purchases.

To access a customer's credit notes, click on the customer's profile (click "customer" on the homepage, then click "view" under the customer's name), and select "credit notes."

You will have two selection options: "create a new note" and "zip credit notes."

The "zip credit notes" option enables the grouping together of credit notes in a singular folder. This will allow for easy location during searches.

Creating a "new credit note" involves the following:

- Credit note date: An indication of the date when the credit note was issued.
- Credit note number: A unique identifier for the credit note for easy reference.
- Item: List of the items for which the credit note is being generated.
- Description: A clear and concise description for each item.
- Quantity: Specific quantity of each item associated with the credit note.
- Rate: The unit rate for the items mentioned.
- Tax: Applicable tax information for the credit note.
- Client's note: Notes or comments from the client.
- Terms and conditions: An outline of the relevant terms and conditions for the credit note.

Once these details have been accurately filled, click on "Save."

A notification will confirm that you have successfully saved your credit note, and you are assured of the proper maintenance and documentation of your financial records.
