**Leads**
Leads are prospects; these are people who are interested in the product or service that you sell.
The Leads feature is accessible on the list on your homepage.
Click on the "new lead" feature; a form will be provided with fields for information content.
Fill the fields appropriately, as well as the "description box." Check the "public" and "contacted today" boxes as applicable, and then click on 'save.'
**Status:** Indicates the state of the customer as a "Lead" or a "customer."
**Source:** It signifies how the "Lead" was generated.
**Assigned:** This field will be automatically filled.
