Estimates

Estimates:

An estimate is roughly a calculation or a judgment of the value, number, quantity, or extent of an item, goods, services, or a project.

Estimates can be found under the sales dropdown.

Click on "create a new estimate" and do the following:

- Enter the project details for which you want to generate the estimate.
- Provide the exact data and expiry date for the estimate.
- Utilize the "Tags" field to facilitate easy retrieval of items associated with the estimate.
- By default, the "currency" is likely to be set; verify and adjust if necessary.
- Choose the appropriate "status" for the estimate, such as "draft," "sent," "expired," "declined," or "accepted."
- Indicate the relevant sales agent, typically the person responsible for creating the estimate.
- For administration purposes, include an "Admin Note" if desired. Ensure it's visible only to the internal team and not the customer.
- Add the following details for each item:
- Item
- Description
- Quantity
- Rate
- Tax

Similar to an invoice, complete the above features accurately.

After entering the items, the "subtotal" will be auto-calculated.

Provide any pertinent "client's note" and specify the applicable "terms and conditions."

"Save" the estimate to record the information successfully.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a notification confirming the addition of the estimate.
